Tend Kitchen Marinating Container - Medium
The workhorse. Built for steaks, salmon, and everything in between. Fridge to oven in the same vessel. Airtight lid. No smell, no plastic.
Built for marinating and storing. Steaks, salmon, pork tenderloin, pork chops, and larger vegetables. Fridge to oven in the same vessel. Airtight lid. No smell, no plastic.
I couldn't find a marinating container that actually worked. So I made one.
The options out there are silicone bags that hold onto the smell of last week's garlic, oversized bowls that take up half your fridge, or plastic wrap over a plate that never quite seals. None of them were built with marinating in mind.
The Tend Kitchen Marinating Container was.
It's shallow enough that your marinade actually covers the protein instead of pooling underneath it. The airtight silicone-sealed lid keeps everything contained: no leaks, no odors escaping into your fridge. Marinate for 30 minutes or overnight. The seal holds either way.
When you're done marinating, pull the lid off and put it straight into the oven. Same container. No transfer, no second pan, no extra dishes.
And when you're not marinating? Use it for meal prep, leftovers, or freezer storage. Because it's stainless steel, it won't absorb smells or stain no matter what goes in it. The garlic from Monday won't show up in Tuesday's lunch.
It stacks flat on a standard fridge shelf without requiring you to rearrange everything first. If you're prepping multiple proteins, stack two - they're designed for it.
One more thing worth noting - all three Tend Kitchen container sizes share the same lid. If you own the small and the medium, the lids are interchangeable. No more digging through a drawer trying to figure out which lid goes where.
One container that does the job right. Built to last a lot longer than any zip-lock bag or plastic tub you've bought before.
Good for:
Steaks and flank · Salmon sides · Ribs · Pork tenderloin · Larger vegetables · Meal prep · Freezer storage · Leftovers
Why stainless steel:
SS304 stainless steel is non-reactive with acidic marinades - citrus, vinegar, wine. It doesn't absorb odors or stain. It's FDA-certified food contact safe. It's the right material for the job.
Care:
Remove lid before placing in oven · Dishwasher safe · Hand wash with mild detergent and soft sponge · Avoid steel wool or abrasive cleaners
